Halcyon Times, Ltd. was incorporated in 1990 and started marketing cordless picture lights in 1994.
In 1999, under the Trade Mark of Concept, the company introduced this very successful line of picture lights, which illuminate art without unsightly electrical cords. The idea and design were inspired by a desire to overcome the two major show-stoppers (weak illumination and very low battery life) associated with previously available cordless picture lights.
The concept takes a great idea and elevates it to a plane of being a product of excellent value. It features a "warm white" fluorescent bulb, to efficiently provide superior color rendition and more than 40 hours of use. This wall-or-frame mounted picture light, with an 11 amp adjustable shade, uses four D-batteries and can be ordered in either a polished or antique brass finish. |
